A very dear friend, John Adams, who passed suddenly away on 13 July, will be missed by all as he had done so much for Newhaven, He painted the rails by the river, cut the grass edges, saw to the flowers from Paradise Park in the high street in the big boxes that he made, plus the two boats and the cartwheel.
Newhaven would like to keep his memory going so I am asking for volunteers to come to help when we replant new flowers, as Newhaven was his life.
Kindly ring his wife on 01273 612155 if you would like to help.
V Tully, Newhaven
