Garden tools including a strimmer, drill and chop-saw were stolen from a shed while the homeowner was away.
The items were stolen from the shed in Buxton Drive, Bexhill, at some point between July 13 and July 29.
They included a yellow Karcher strimmer, Dewalt chop saw, yellow Karcher jet wash, Makita drill, black Leica laser level and a silver Festool saw rail.
Sergeant Mark Evans advised people to secure their homes and outbuildings and leave key-holder details with neighbours.
Property can also be registered for free on www.immobilise.com which helps the police to track it.
Anyone with information about the Bexhill burglary is asked to call 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 697 of 30/07.
