A SUPERMARKET worker is hoping to raise money and awareness for a local charity.
Employees at Marks and Spencer are offered a volunteer day every year to raise money for a charity.
Betsy Blake, 25, from Lancing, who works at Marks and Spencer, has organised a car boot stall to raise funds for her chosen children’s charity.
She said: “We’ve had full support from our colleagues.
“So many of our colleagues have donated so much, masses of toys and books and the store has donated a large wedding cake.”
Mrs Blake’s stall will be at the car boot sale at Brighton Racecourse on Sunday, raising money for the Adur Special Needs Project, which provides out-of-school care and respite for children aged over five with special needs.
