Two teenagers have been ordered to pay £100 to a man they attacked for being gay.
Two teenage boys from Battle, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will have to pay £100 compensation to the victim of a homophobic assault in Battle High Street at around 8.30am on Friday March 14.
The 15 and 16 year-old boys were also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15, costs of £85 and made subject of a 12 month referral order with the Youth Offending Panel when they appeared before Eastbourne Youth Court this month.
