An injury to a woman on a railway platform brought trains to a standstill.
British Transport Police and paramedics were called to Aldrington station at just after 11.30am this morning after a woman on the platform was bleeding heavily from a cut to her arm.
The 38-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment to cuts to her arm which police believe was caused by an accident.
Trains were prevented from stopping at the station for about an hour while the incident caused delays of up to 20 minutes to some Southern services.
