FIREFIGHTERS were called after someone got their foot stuck in a stair lift.
A crew was called to Clifton Close, Hampden Park, Eastbourne, at 10.45pm last night 2/10. But on arrival found the patient was being cared for by paramedics and no further action was required.
A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the incident was at a private address and declined to comment further on the extent of the injuries.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to help three other people trapped in incidents in Eastbourne that evening.
One of which happened at their own head quarters. Some got stuck in a lift in the building in Upperton Road shortly after 7pm but was quickly released.
And a crew had to use bolt cutters to free people locked in a park in Huggetts Lane, Lower Willingdon.
Firefighters were called to help out two women trapped in the park shortly after 9.30pm.
