A rescue dog lost in Hove after being rescued from a life of torture and cruelty has mysteriously turned up.
Little Billy slipped his lead in Hove on Tuesday after just one day in the country.
Charity Action Aid for Animals, which helped rescue him from Hungary and find him a new home, put out an appeal via The Argus to try and find him.
Thankfully he turned up at his foster carer’s home the next day.
Kendra Pinder said: “I’m so happy he’s back. It was so worrying.
“It was a great effort from the people of Hove.
"He literally just turned up on the doostrep of the foster carer.
“There were no sightings overnight so I thought someone must have taken him.
“Its quite strange. But the main thing is he’s safe now.
"He’ll go to his permanent home over the weekend.”
