WE SHOULD not blame the Green administration in Brighton and Hove entirely for the appalling recycling rate in the city and more widely throughout East Sussex (The Argus October 10).
Conservative and Labour Councillors voted for the Newhaven incinerator that blights the town and needs to be fed.
It was the Liberal Democrats that carried the political argument for a more enlightened waste management strategy at both Brighton and Hove and East Sussex County Council.
