CAMPAIGNERS are considering holding a protest outside a star psychic’s next show in anger at a threatening and homophobic outburst by her husband and son-in-law.

Sally Morgan, better known as Psychic Sally, has sacked her husband and son-in-law after they were caught on camera threatening a sceptic distributing leaflets outside one of her shows.

She has also apologised but some campaigners felt she had not gone far enough, and were talking of protesting outside her show at the Theatre Royal Brighton tomorrow.

Kaye Crawford, 28, a transsexual from Essex, called on social media for the protest before Mrs Morgan’s apology, saying people should “stand against hatred and bigotry”.

After the apology she told The Argus it was “up to the individual” if they still wanted to protest, adding Mrs Morgan should make a donation to a LGBT charity.

She added: “I think there are about 40 people planning to protest.

“I am actually a believer; I was going to see her next year but have cancelled my seats.

“The video is horrible, it is so awful.”

Recorded secretly by psychic campaigner Mark Tilbrook, the video shows Mrs Morgan’s husband, John Morgan, making homophobic comments and telling Tilbrook: “I’m going to knock you out one day.”

Her son-in-law Darren Wiltshear is heard to add: “I’ve seen him do it, and you really don’t want him to do it.”

Mrs Morgan initially defended her husband saying he had reacted “angrily and out of character” and said Mr Tilbrook had “targeted” her live performances.

But on Monday she sacked the pair as her manager and tour manager and said she was “utterly ashamed” of their behaviour. Mr Morgan was also removed as a director of her company.

Separately, posters have been reported in public places in Brighton with the words, ‘Brighton Gays Say Shame on Sally Morgan’.

A spokesman for her company, Sally Morgan Enterprises, told The Argus on Wednesday there were no plans to cancel any shows.

Mrs Morgan cancelled her previous show in Brighton, in June, due to illness.
