A HOUSE has been damaged in a fire.
Three fire engines tackled the blaze that started in a first-floor kitchen.
Firefighters were called at 1.05pm today to the house in Tarring Road, Worthing.
A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said no-one was inside the two-storey home.
He added the house had sustained 30 per cent fire damage and 50 per cent smoke damage.
Two engines from Worthing and one from Shoreham attended.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
