FISHING rods and other equipment worth £2,500 was stolen from a house.
Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary at a house in Douce Grove, St Leonards, which took place sometime between 8pm on Wednesday, October 22, and 8.45am on Thursday, October 23.
Three black Shimano fishing rods with a Shimano Ultegra XTB 5500 reel, a bait alarm, a green Nash 6' fishing bag, and a large fishing shelter with side panels were all stolen from the garage.
PC Max Redknap said: "The value of the stolen goods is in the region of £2,500. If you have any information about the burglary or if you see these goods being sold or have been offered these goods for sale, please get in contact with us."
