A PENSIONER was shoved in front of a bus in an unprovoked attack.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident in Eastbourne on Thursday and have published CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to. 23/10 The 75-year-old man left Rockwells Cafe in Terminus Road shortly after) when he was pushed by a man in the doorway.
The attacker pushed the pensioner again, sending him flying across the pavement, into the road so he fell in front of a bus, before heading back into the café and leaving.
The bus stopped before it hit the man, who was left shaken and injured.
PC Kelley Matthews said: "The victim was left very shaken and suffered grazes to his hands and a fractured finger.
"This was a nasty, unprovoked attack and we are determined to find who is responsible.
"If you know who the man in the CCTV is, or where he could be, please contact us.”
