Pet lovers have just a few days left to take advantage of a free will writing offer from a veterinary charity.

The scheme from PDSA, which offers free wills for people over 50, closes on Friday.

Currently two out of every three sick and injured pets brought to PDSA pet hospitals – including at the PDSA Brighton branch in Robertson Road - receive free veterinary treatment because people have left the charity in their will.

Gill White, from PDSA’s free wills team says: “At PDSA we recognise the amazing bond that exists between pets and we see many examples as the UK is, without question, a nation of animal-lovers. This is one reason why it would be wonderful if people could consider helping sick and injured pets by including a gift in their will for PDSA.”

It isn’t necessary to make a donation to take up this offer, but PDSA hopes that many people will choose to include a gift in their will for PDSA’s vital work.
