A FUSE box caught fire and more than 20 firefighters spent two and a half hours tackling the blaze.
Flames sparked in the electrical box in a commercial property in Ockley Lane, Burgess Hill, and a cohort of firefighters was on the scene from 5.40pm until 8.10pm last night.
No-one was injured or needed to be evacuated but 10% of the first floor of the two storey building, a West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
