THREE people have been arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit robbery after two village shop incidents.
They occurred at shops in the neighbouring villages of Barnham and Eastergate, near Bognor, on Saturday afternoon.
Those charged are: Jack Walters, 20, of Linnet Close, Wick, Littlehampton; Tommy Howlett, 21, of Kingsland Close, Shoreham, and Georgina Bain, 19, of Nyton Road, Westergate.
All three were arrested later the same day.
Those arrested were detained in custody and appeared before Crawley magistrates yesterday.
Those charged are: Jack Walters, 20, of Linnet Close, Wick, Littlehampton; Tommy Howlett, 21, of Kingsland Close, Shoreham, and Georgina Bain, 19, of Nyton Road, Westergate.
All three were sent to trial at Chichester Crown Court on December 22.
Walters and Howlett were remanded in custody until the court appearance while Bain is on conditional bail until then.
None of the three entered a plea.
A fourth suspect is still being sought by police.
