A HAUL of tools and a bike were stolen after a garage and two sheds were broken into.

The burglary happened in Mortain Park, Hailsham, at the rear of a property.

Various items were stolen including three tool boxes containing spanners and socket sets, a blue roll of spanners, gaugers and allen keys, screwdrivers, a tap and dye set and a big socket extension bar.

The burglar, or burglars, also took a piston ring compressor, a torque wrench in a black fitted case and a complete wheel and tyre.

A mountain bike worth £99, and a boxed, yellow and blue radio controlled speed boat, worth £25, were also taken.

The break-in took place at some time between 3pm on November 23 and 11am on November 26, though police only released the details today.
