Fox rescued by firefighters after falling into 20ft rural tank
Firefighters rescued a fox stuck in a 20ft tank this afternoon.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called at 2.30pm to reports of a trapped fox.
Animal rescue crews attended the scene in Whitegates Lane in Wadhurst and found that a fox had fallen into the tank.
They successfully rescued it using a dog grasper, the device that resembles a noose on a pole usually reserved for aggressive canines.
