A FLORAL light display came to life yesterday afternoon.
Lights on the Floral Clock in Church Road, Hove, were switched on by the mayor, Councillor Brian Fitch.
Residents gathered to watch the spectacle as rotary club members sang carols around a Christmas tree, while there was also a carol service.
Held in St John’s Church, it had around 100 attendees.
Children from Davigdor Infant School sang The Twelve Days Of Christmas and Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree.
The event was organised by Brunswick Town In Bloom group.
Trisha Gaskell-Watkins, from the group, said: “It’s nice doing it on December 1 as it really feels like Christmas.
“The event was lovely and the tree is really pretty this year.”
