If your regular correspondent S Zappelo really wants to understand why his, like many other bus routes around the city, are increasingly unable to keep to their timetabled schedule, then perhaps he might like to reflect on the simple fact that there are far too many cars trying to access the city centre for the available road space and not just during the peak travel periods.
Traffic management schemes that give maximum priority to buses, motorbikes, taxis and cyclists can only ever form part of the solution unless much greater numbers of car users wholeheartedly acknowledge and embrace the use of sustainable transport alternatives.
