Police want to trace this man in relation to the rape of a woman on the beach.
The 43-year-old woman shared drink and cigarettes with two men she had never met before under the Palace Pier in the early hours of Sunday November 2.
One of the men sexually assaulted and then raped the woman. He ran off after she threw stones at him and headed west along the seafront.
Detective sergeant Chris Lane said: "Following extensive enquiries, a suspect has been captured on CCTV at a local off licence and we are hoping that someone will be able to help us identify the man in the image.
"We are offering support to the victim and asking anyone who recognises this man or has any information to contact us on 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 243 of November 2."
