Bidders will pledge their time and skills rather than their money at a charity auction with a difference.

Organised by Time 2 Give, the unique auction will be held at a black tie Christmas ball on December 14 at the Grand Hotel in Brighton.

Time 2 Give is a Brighton-based group which brings together a network of charities and businesses to help the city’s residents in need.

The event’s target is to raise at least 500 hours of donated time from the city’s businesses.

The event will be hosted by Sophie Corbett, Ronnie Corbett’s daughter, and Guy Lloyd from Juice FM.

Gail Bainbridge, founder of Time 2 Give, told the Argus: “I want to encourage other people to get involved, meet new people and get to know the people they share the city with.”

Tickets for the event are £45 and available from time2give.org.uk or by emailing gail@time2give.org.uk.
