PATIENTS in intensive care were evacuated from a hospital when a fire broke out.
Around 20 firefighters are on the scene with four fire engines at the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said the evacuation was a “precaution” when they were called shortly after 3pm.
A spokeswoman for the service said: “There is a small fire in a cavity void on the first floor of the hospital. Firefighters are still on the scene.”
