A MAGICAL winter wonderland has been unveiled as seasonal lanterns light up the Wakehurst Place estate.
The gardens at Ardingly are also home to Britain’s tallest Christmas tree, which stands at 118ft.
The tree, a giant Redwood, is so tall it acts as a landmark for planes coming in to land at Gatwick and needs 1,800 lights.
It acts as the centrepiece to the estate’s Glow Wild winter lantern festival, which includes a special trail through the garden and ends tomorrow.
