A 105-year-old was paid a special visit to mark her birthday.
Friends and family celebrated Queenie Harbour’s birthday at the Harmony Nursing Home in Southwick.
She was joined by her son and nephew, as well as other family members and the Mayor and Mayoress of Brighton and Hove.
Nursing home manager Vanessa Devenish said: “She is a lovely lady and she thoroughly enjoyed her birthday, receiving lots of cards and was pleased to see everyone.”
Councillor Brian Fitch, Mayor of Brighton and Hove, said: “It was a delight to meet Queenie.
“Her vitality and personality shone on her special day and it was obvious that her family and friends hold her in high esteem. The staff at the home were kind, caring and obviously very fond of her.”
