RAILWAY enthusiasts enjoyed a blast from the past as No. 34067 Tangmere steamed through Shoreham.
The steam locomotive vintage outing was part of a Christmas shopping day trip from Sussex to the Bath Christmas market, courtesy of the Railway Touring Company.
The powerful Pacific steam locomotive passed through Shoreham on Saturday morning, before heading west along the scenic route towards Somerset, with onlookers catching a glimpse of the machine.
En route, the train stopped at Salisbury, giving the passengers a chance to chat to the steam locomotive drivers.
The train returned to Sussex later that evening.
