POLICE have renewed their appeal for witnesses to a fatal car crash.
It involved a black BMW M3 car, which crashed into a tree close to Goodwood Racecourse before catching fire.
A man driving the car died at the scene. He has not yet been formally identified.
PC Shirley Ross, of Sussex Police Road Policing Investigations, said: “In particular, we are keen to speak to the driver of a dark green Land Rover Defender which was at the scene following the collision.
“And we would also like to talk to the driver of a vehicle that we know was overtaken by the BMW on or near Selhurstpark Road.”
