A GROUP of flexible free-runners made use of a disused space to get ready for an upcoming tour.
The Urban Playground Team (UGP Team) rehearsed in the old fruit and veg market in Circus Street, Brighton.
Describing themselves as “the original performance-parkour company”, they combine authentic French free-running with dance and physical theatre.
UPG Team’s tour kicks off at the Hip-Hop Summit in Bournemouth before touring the UK until early November.
There is no Sussex date confirmed but South East Dance, the regional supporting agency, is looking to bring the team to Brighton.
The free rehearsal space, given over to the UPG Team by Circus Street developers Cathedral group, will take on some added significance as it will become the base for South East Dance once the work is finished.
