A TV comedian is backing a pub quiz campaign for charity.
Al Murray, The Pub Landlord, is backing the Mad March Pub Quizzes initiative to raise money for the Friends of Sussex Hospices.
Watering holes across the county have signed up to the project, which will see quizzes and raffles held to raise money for the charity.
The comedian said: “I think the Mad March Pub Quiz Challenge is a top-notch idea and I urge you to support it in whatever way you can to raise money for Sussex Hospices.”
This year 58 venues have signed up already following the launch of the fundraising drive.
