A COUNCILLOR spent the morning scrubbing obscene graffiti off the window of the Conservative’s offices.
Brighton and Hove Conservative City Councillor Graham Cox used alcohol wipes to remove the vandalism in Sackville Road, Hove, on Friday morning.
Coun Cox, who is also running as a parliamentary candidate for the Tories in Hove, was quick to dismiss criticism in the graffiti.
He said: “We moved to Sackville Road because it’s a busy road and we wanted to be more accessible to the people, but one downside to that is what has happened.
“I haven’t reported it to the police because I think they’ve got bigger things to deal with.”
