A man in his 50s collapsed from a suspected heart attack as he waited for a train today.
Sussex Ambulance was called to Burgess Hill train station at 5.50am and found the man unconscious and not breathing.
Other people on the platform attempted to resuscitate the man until paramedics arrived. He was taken to the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath but was pronounced dead on arrival.
