CARS were set alight in two suspected arson attacks in less than a day.
Firefighters spent half an hour tackling a blaze in Lynchet Close car park by Hollingdean Park at 9.15pm on Monday night. [23/2]
Just a shell of a car was left and the incident is being investigated as suspicious by police.
A second car was found alight at 10.30am yesterday in Hove. [24/2]
Firefighters spent half an hour extinguishing flames engulfing a blue Renault at The Drive with the junction of Wilbury Avenue.
No-one was injured but police closed part of the road until shortly after 11am while the area was made safe.
Anyone with information should call 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting 1506 of 23/2 for the first incident and 0390 of 24/02 for the second.
