A GROUP of men have been arrested after two men were attacked outside a night club.

Two men were on a night out in Crawley on Saturday. [21/2] They had an altercation with a group of men outside the LB1 Bar in Gales Drive at 1am and were later attacked further up the road near the junction with North Road.

A 32-year-old from Crawley had cuts and bruises and a 47-year-old man from Horley was treated in hospital and needed an X-Ray on his ribs after being stamped on in the attack.

Investigator Alex Ryan said: "We would like anyone who witnessed these two separate incidents near LB1 to come forward to police. There was a private function in the LB1 Bar that evening and police would be interested in speaking to any of the people who attended who might have witnessed the altercation outside the bar."

A 24-year-old man from Sutton Coldfield, a 39-year-old man from Congleton, Cheshire, and a 23-year-old man from Merthyr Tydfil, were all arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm, questions and released on bail until Friday, March 20.
