POLICE have released CCTV footage of a man they want to trace over a suspected attempted break-in.
Sussex Police said a man was seen walking onto a driveway before trying the garage door, picking up a brick and putting it back down, then trying to open the key safe on the side of the house.
Nothing was stolen in the incident at about 9pm on Sunday February 15 at a house in Horsham Avenue North, Peacehaven.
The suspect is described as white, aged between 20 and 30, of medium build, with short, dark hair.
He was wearing a white, long-sleeved, round-necked t-shirt with buttons up to the neck, jeans, dark shoes, and a flat, light-coloured hat which was turned to the side.
He had a Puma sports bag with a black strap across his body.
PC Louise Barkaway said: “We need to trace this man who was acting suspiciously. If you recognise him or have any information about this attempted break-in, then contact police.”
