ARSON is the suspected cause of two fires within a mile of each other this evening.
Firefighters were called at 8.01pm to cardboard alight around the back of the Co-op in Southwick Square, Southwick, and at 9.34pm to a small fire at a derelict home in Larke Close, Shoreham.
A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters at the scenes believed the incidents were linked.
Police have been called.
