Crash on M23 - Gatwick Airport warns of delays as people travel to north and south terminals
PEOPLE travelling on the M23 bound for Gatwick Airport are being warned of traffic delays.
Gatwick Airport has said there is an accident northbound on the motorway and anyone heading to the terminals should leave extra travel time.
Firefighter crews from West Sussex were called to the crash at around 7am this morning between a pick up truck and a car. A spokesman said one man was cut out of the car.
There are currently two lanes closed on the M23 London bound as it meets the junction with the M25 and one lane closed southbound with very long delays.
The road is now clear.
