Detectives are trying to reunite various items of jewellery with their owners.
Officers believe they may have been stolen in burglaries across Sussex but have so far been unable to link them to any crimes.
Officers have now uploaded images of more than 50 items - including rings, watches, necklaces and brooches - to the force website in the hope that the owners can identify them.
The items were recovered during the arrest of five people on suspicion of burglary in Billingshurst in January.
Investigator Rebecca Doherty said: "We are sure that these items have been stolen but we need to know where they have been stolen from so they can be given back to their rightful owners.
"If we can prove they have been stolen, it would also help us to prosecute those who we believe took them.
"If any of the items are yours, or if you recognise any of them, please contact us."
Anyone with information should email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting Operation Smart, call 101 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
