Brighton and Hove city councillors sit for a second time to try and set 2015/16 budget

Our live feed has now finished.

  • Brighton and Hove families will learn if councillors decide to protect children's centres from cuts as well as scores of other services at risk.
  • Councillors will try again to set a budget based on a 5.9% council tax increase, a 1.99% tax increase or a tax freeze. If these proposals are unsuccessful they will vote on a joint amendment agreeing a budget which makes certain concessions - such as saving children's centres
