THE mother of one of the UK’s most successful popstars enjoyed a budget tapas meal in Sussex to celebrate her 90th birthday.
Elton John’s mother Sheila Farebrother celebrated her birthday with two friends at the £14-a-head Restaurante Andalucia in Ferring Street, Ferring, on Thursday, according to reports in The Mail On Sunday.
The restaurant is a short ride from Mrs Farebrother’s four-bedroom home in Littlehampton.
The Sunday paper reported that the popstar and his mother are believed to have fallen out and not spoken in years following a dispute surrounding John’s husband David Furnish.
