FIREFIGHTERS shut down a road for more than 20 minutes after a window in a sixth floor flat was smashed.
Fire crews from Preston Circus Fire Station were called to William Collier House at the corner of North Road and Spring Gardens in Brighton at just after 8.50pm last night after a window was smashed in a sixth floor flat.
Firefighters using a hydraulic ladder removed any potentially lethal debris from the flat window.
