Staff at post office held up in armed robbery
STAFF in a post office were held up in an armed robbery.
No-one was hurt in the incident yesterday at Willingdon Post Office, Wish Hill, Eastbourne, at around 9am.
Police said the perpetrators demanded cash and no firearms were involved but were unable to say if they had made off with any goods.
Two men, aged 22 and 24, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery.
Sergeant Howard Nevill said "Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time to come forward with any information that may help with our investigation"
