David Rowland (letters, March 23) asks what are the good points of the Green council’s actions since they took over.
The Seven Dials, pictured, is no longer a race track where drivers practiced devil take the hindmost and the gyratory system is a much better layout especially at the south end – no more merging lines of traffic.
As for the hardly ever working Mazda fountain, good riddance. I always thought that it resembled a left over EWS tank from WW2.
Perhaps it could be installed in Telscombe Cliffs.
Mr Rowlands feels that students should be disenfranchised because they don’t vote Conservative. Well they are here to stay, and what’s more, an everlasting supply.
