There is some evidence women whose waist measurement is more than 34 inches (that's 86cm) are more likely to get carcinoma of the endometrium - that is, the lining of the womb. If your waistline is a bit on the large side, there's certainly no need for panic. However, slimming down would be good for your general health - as well as reducing your risk of cancer.
