There are at least two Pat Drakes in Brighton. One, a Tory councillor in Withdean, is critical of the decision to combine lottery with catchment for secondary school entrance.
The other, me, is an educator in the School of Education at the University of Sussex. I completely applaud the brave decision by Brighton and Hove City Council to try to provide equal opportunity of access across the city.
