A supermarket has won permission to expand.
Sainsbury's has planning approval to increase its Rustington store by more than 25 per cent.
The 17,000sqft expansion has been granted on condition Sainsbury's pays for a new junction controlled by traffic lights for vehicles entering and leaving the New Road retail park.
Another condition limits the floor space in the extension for non-food items to no more than 30 per cent to protect neighbouring shopping centres in Rustington and Littlehampton.
