An MP has been chosen by his party to stand again in the next general election.
MP for Hastings and Rye, Michael Foster, has been selected by members of the local Labour group to stand for the fourth time.
He said: "It's been a privilege to have played a part in achieving the change in our fortunes during the past ten years, particularly as it is in an area where I was born and brought up.
"No Government can deliver utopia but I am certain that with a new leadership we will recapture the agenda for the future."
