Regarding the letter from James McFarlane (Letters, March 8) bemoaning the absence of the friendly milkman. I can assure Mr McFarlane that milk is still delivered to the doorstep in Hove.
I have two pints of skimmed milk delivered every other day. I can't say if we have a milkman or milkmaid though, as they deliver at 4.30am.
