While £50 million is a vast amount of money for the NHS to waste (The Argus, March 10), we should remind ourselves that it pales into insignificance compared with the £12.4 billion currently spent on an NHS IT system which, according to one of its component suppliers, will never work, and is unwanted by the vast majority of health professionals.
Still, just as long as targets can be met, Ms Hewitt can claim everything's working well.
