Revolutionary new units to help homeless people are to be unveiled tomorrow.
Hove-based charity Lorica St Patrick's already offers more 25,000 bed spaces a year for homeless people.
Now the first five revolutionary "Mipod" units are to be unveiled at the centre in Cambridge Road.
An opening ceremony is due to be held at the charity's headquarters.
Following the ceremony, a fund-raising bike ride will be held on the seafront at Hove Lawns. The Big Bike Challenge sees local firms taking part in the race to raise cash for Father Alan Sharpe's night shelter for the homeless.
Father Alan said: "This really is the start of a new future for our night shelter and one which we're confident will set the standard for emergency accommodation throughout the country.
"We appeal to Brighton and Hove residents to support us by cheering on our riders and donating generously on the day."
