SPRING has well and truly arrived in force with more than 22,000 tulips blooming at Arundel Castle.
The stunning display in the castle’s gardens is one of the most impressive in the country and features a range of tulip varieties from Purple Prince to Curly Sue, Black Parrot and Orange Emperor.
The annual Tulip Festival is promising a wide burst of spring colour and thousands of visitors are expected to come to see the display for the themselves.
The festival also has a new tulip garden with areas for visitors to sit and relax or have their photos taken surrounded by beautiful blooms.
This particular area is home to one of the largest displays of tulips including the beautiful Carnival de Rio, Flaming Flag, blood red Bastogne, crimson streaked Washington and yellow and red Helmar varieties.
