SUMMER has come early at a market – with deckchairs laid out and palm trees swaying.
Brighton Open Market has been given a Caribbean makeover to create a more chilled out and relaxed atmosphere for customers.
Earlier this month, the market received a nomination for a Placemaking Award recognising the best mixed-use project with a positive impact on the physical or environmental quality of a place or the economic or social well-being of community.
Next weekend, the market off London Road will host a Breaking Bread masterclass with workshops, stalls and talks, fun with clay children’s workshops and The Bookmongers Brighton Bookfair.
